ABOUT THE THERAPIST
Twanna Monds, LCMHC,NBCT-School Counseling, earned her masters degree in Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and currently is completing her doctoral degree in Counseling and Counselor Education from North Carolina State University. Twanna Monds taught at Durham Technical Community College and has been a Professional School Counselor in the K-12 public and private school settings for over 17 years. In 2018, she started work as a clinician supporting children, adolescents and families.

Over the last 18 years, I have had the opportunity to work with children, adults, and families. My goal is to assist people in developing positive social skills, overcoming self-esteem difficulties, obtaining tools for academic success, and providing holistic counseling for their overall health and well-being.
